If you are using an iPhone, after 3 failed attempts using a fingerprint, the app reverts to PIN/password login. The user must log in using PIN/password once before fingerprint login can be re-enabled. If the user fails fingerprint 2 more times, fingerprint login within the device will become disabled and the user must re-enable fingerprint login in the device settings under Touch ID & Passcode.
If you are using and Android smartphone, then after 5 failed fingerprint login attempts the app says to try again later. It will take approximately 30 seconds before the app will allow you to login again using fingerprint login.
