Can I trade warrants through CommSec?

Yes, you can trade warrants through your CommSec trading account.

Before being able to trade warrants, you will need to submit an online request once logged into your existing CommSec account. Navigate to the Settings > Service Centre > Create a Request, then type in ‘Warrant Trading Agreement’ and click on the request. You will need to read the risk disclosure statement for warrants and the Explanatory Booklet issued by Exchange.

We will endeavour to enable your CommSec share trading account for warrant trading within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of the request and you can view the status of your request under the Status Centre (on Service Centre page).

Otherwise, to confirm that your account has been enabled for warrants trading, please contact us on 13 15 19 or +61 2 9115 1417 if calling from overseas (Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm, Sydney time).
