I've forgotten my login password how can I reset it online?

CommSec has made it simpler for you to change your login password with Online Password Reset. You can reset your password online with just a few security checks and clicks.

Click 'Forgot?' located in the password box and you'll be able to reset your password using your Client ID, mobile phone, and SMS Security.

The process to reset your password will depend on whether your registered mobile number is up-to-date on your profile. If it is, just follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on 'Forgot?'
  2. Follow the prompts to enter your Client ID, Mobile number and replicate a code
  3. If all three are correct and match what is held on the database, you will see the 'Get SMS Security Code' button. Click this and a security code will automatically be sent to your mobile phone via SMS
  4. Enter this security code in the box provided online and press 'Proceed' to create a new login password

Please note: For security reasons CommSec will not be able to email or mail out client passwords.
