What if I am not registered for SMS security verification and have forgotten my password, will I still be able to change my password online?

Yes. If your mobile phone number is the same as the mobile phone number registered on your account, the SMS security code will automatically be sent to your mobile phone.

If you are unable to proceed with the online password reset function, you can Contact Us.

We take security at CommSec very seriously which is why we provide a range of security measures to keep your accounts safe. Secret Q&A, SMS validation codes and different login and trading passwords are just a few examples of this. It is important to ensure all these features are set up on your account/s and that your registered mobile number is always up-to date. To update your details navigate to Settings > Service Centre after you have logged into your account.
