How do I place a US Trade?

US trades for International Trading Account customers can be placed online or over the phone. To place a US trade online, please log into CommSec website and follow the below steps:

  • Navigate to Trading > International and click on "Launch Platform"
  • Click on "Transact" and enter the details of your order
  • Click "Review Order"
  • Confirm the order details are correct then press "Submit Order"

It is important to note that you should only place the trade once you have the relevant foreign currency available in your International Trading Account. You can check your balances by navigating to the International trading platform via Trading > International > Launch Platform > Portfolio> Balances.
