February 2024 Reporting Season Calendar

Reporting Season has now concluded. Here is a recap of how some of Australia's largest companies perfomed and the dividends they declared.  

Dividend payments set to ramp up

In the coming week, dividend pay-outs to investors start to ramp up. Dividends issued by S&P/ASX 200-listed companies total almost $1.7 billion in the coming week, and a phenomenal $18.8 billion in the week starting March 25 and then a further $9 billion over the following three weeks.

Fortescue Half Year Result: Improved iron ore prices deliver earnings jump

Higher realised iron ore prices and cost discipline have been factors that have led Fortescue Limited (FMG) to a 21 per cent increase in H1 FY24 revenue to US$9.5 billion, while underlying EBITDA of US$5.9 billion was 36 per cent higher. Net profit after tax (NPAT) of US$3.3 billion increased by 41 per cent compared to the same period last year.
