How can I reset my NetBank password online?

Your NetBank client number and password are separate to your CommSec ID and password.

If you’ve forgotten your NetBank ID, password or have locked your account and need to unlock it, you can save yourself a phone call by using the ‘I’ve forgotten my log on details' function from the NetBank log on page to re-establish your NetBank access.

To change or unlock your NetBank details (such as your NetBank ID or password), you’ll need your CommBank card, card PIN and mobile phone handy.

Please perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the NetBank log on page and choose 'I’ve forgotten my log on details'.
  2. Enter your card number and PIN then tick 'I need to reset my NetBank password' and click Next.
  3. Click 'Get a NetCode' then enter the NetCode we sent to your mobile phone and click Next.

Your client number will be displayed and you’ll be able to create a new password before continuing to NetBank.
