However, you may wish to share your data with an accredited data recipient through Open Banking.

What is Open Banking?

Open Banking was introduced after the Australian Government passed legislation, called the Consumer Data Right (CDR). With Open Banking, you can consent to:

  • Share your CommBank data with organisations accredited by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
  • Share your CommBank data with providers who will collect it from an accredited organisation
