What is the CommSec app?

The CommSec app is a mobile application that you can download to your iPad, iPhone or Android smartphones, to access the CommSec trading platform. This app is optimised for smartphones and the iPad.

  • Make trading decisions faster with the help of our tools. Market movers give you a quick market snapshot, share portfolio view gives you the live value of your portfolio as the market moves, and watchlists help you keep a close eye on companies you're interested in
  • View market and dividend announcements, technical events and recommendations related to your portfolio and watchlists via your own newsfeed
  • Access international trading and research
  • Unlock your CommSec app instantly with PIN, fingerprint login, and Face ID login on supported devices
  • View your watchlists via homescreen widgets on Android devices or on the today view/notification center on iOS devices

Apple iPhone and iPad users

Please go to the iTunes App Store to download the CommSec app. The app is compatible with an iPhone or iPad running iOS 13.3 or later The Apple Watch app requires watchOS 3 or later.

Android Smartphone users

Please go to Google Play to download the CommSec app. Your device must be able to update to a minimum of Android 7.0 to use the latest version of CommSec app.

Please note:: Android tablets are not supported. If you have a mobile phone that does not operate on Apple iOS or Android, you will not be able to access the CommSec app. However, you will still have access to the website by using the phone’s browser (if web browsing is supported).
