Can I refinance a Margin Loan held with another provider?

Yes, you can refinance a margin loan held with another provider.

  • If you do not already have a CommSec Margin Loan, you'll need to complete a Margin Loan Application. During the application process, you will be prompted under the "Refinancing Details" to attach your most recent margin loan statement.
  • If you already have a CommSec Margin Loan you will need to fill in a refinance form, which you can download here and return to CommSec as per the details on the form.

You will need to provide a copy of your current margin loan statement in both instances.

Please ensure that your CommSec Margin Loan has a sufficient credit limit to enable the refinance. You may find that lending values for our approved securities list differs from your existing lender.
