How do I update my contact details like phone number, email and address

To update your contact details including your address, contact numbers, and email address, complete the following steps:

  • Log in to your CommSec account
  • Go to the Settings page
  • Click on the "View or edit details" link located at the top right of the page
  • Enter your updates and save your changes.

Note: If you are accessing CommSec from our mobile app, you can access the change your contact details section by navigating in the app to;

Apple user -  More menu> Service Centre > Edit
Android user - Main menu> Service Centre > Edit

How to update your address for a company or company trust account

  • Log in to your CommSec account
  • Go to the Settings page
  • Click on the "Edit" link in the Company Details section, on the right-hand side of the page
  • Enter your updates and save your changes.

Can I update my phone number to an overseas number?

If you want to add an overseas number to your CommSec profile, you will need to call us. Please note that if you add an overseas number to your profile, you won’t be able to use it to receive SMS security messages.
