How can I change an account ownership structure?
With CommSec, the account ownership structures available are:
- Individual
- Joint
- Company
- Trust (including Minor Trust)
- SMSF
We cannot change the account ownership structure for an existing account. To change the ownership structure of your shares, you will need to:
- Open a new account under the new structure; or
- If you already have an account in the new structure, you can transfer shares by following the below.
Transferring shares
